Mark your calendars! The Public Library for Union County invites the community to celebrate the literary talent in our area at the upcoming Local Author Fair on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the library’s Community Room. (255 Reitz Boulevard Lewisburg)

Meet the authors behind the stories, hear what sparks their imaginations, and explore a variety of books and creative works spanning fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and children’s literature. Discover your next great read, chat with the writers who brought these stories to life, and celebrate the joy of storytelling right here in our community!

Local Authors Attending: Dean Alan Conrad, Cindy Avery, Justin Strawser, Evan Allison, Brian C Johnson, E.P Klopp, and Kevin J. Coolidge

With such a varied lineup, readers can discover something new around every table—from chilling tales and fantastical adventures to poetry, personal histories, inspirational stories, and imaginative books for children. Whether you're looking for your next great read, hoping to meet a local writer, interested in discovering a new genre, or simply curious about the creative people behind the books, the Local Author Fair offers a chance to connect with authors and experience the joy of storytelling firsthand.

The event is free and open to the public. Each author will have books available for purchase and signing. All sales will be handled directly by the authors, some may accept cash only,  and some may only sell digital copies of their books.
