Baking Sourdough In-Person

Class Dates: Tuesday, September 9, 23, and 30

*** NOTICE: Class on Tuesday, September 23 will start at 5:30 pm and end at 8:00 pm ***

Come join us for a 3-session, hands-on course to learn how to bake your own sourdough bread at home.

Homemade sourdough bread:

  • Is easy to make
  • Doesn’t require fancy equipment
  • Has a great flavor (usually, not sour at all)
  • Is great for digestion and health
  • Is much less expensive than bread purchased in a store

Once you develop an understanding of sourdough through this course you can start to make adjustments that will make the bread you bake truly your own. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library, or registering online. Registration is required.
