Master Gardener: A Guide to Strawberries In-Person
Join Kathy Demchak and learn all about strawberries. Kathy has been at Penn State since 1983, working with a variety of crops. She’s been responsible for statewide berry crop research and extension programs since 1999. This talk will cover the path that strawberry production has taken through the centuries, ending with the current production methods that result in strawberry availability year-round. Kathy will speak from 6:30 pm until 7:30 pm with a Q&A to follow. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library, or registering online.
